This isn't too different from a lot of other mech games - but it does put an emphasis on blowing everything up, so it was pretty fun for a couple of hours. Most of the environment is destructible which you don't see too much in modern games anymore. The gameplay definitely leans more toward the arcade side compared to something like Steel Battalion, which is another mech game that was sold on the Xbox around that time. Something super cool - Mech Assault was the very first Xbox Live game, it was even included in an Xbox Live starter kit, which include a multiplayer demo of Mech Assault. My next mech game NEEDS to be Steel Battalion with the controller. Because holy cow that controller is freaking awesome! (Check out the sixth slide) This controller & game was made in 2002, and you can interact with every single button. It used to be $200, but now a sealed, brand-new one will cost at least $1,000. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and find one for cheap :p♢ Thank y'all for being patient for my first naked/sexy game review video! It takes a lot to learn exactly how to structure and edit the videos properly. I also have to beat the game first before I review it, or else I won't be able to get the full picture. Once I post it, I'm hoping to get advice to help me get better over time. I'm not even done, and I'm already enjoying talking about my passion on camera.
