Every tattoo tells its own story... 🖤✨
My tattoos are not just drawings on my skin, but a part of me, my journey and my memories. Each one has a special meaning:
🕊️ my sleeve: I love Lovecraft's vibes (as you might have noticed from my nickname, so my arm depicts a boiling foamy sea where a kraken MUST BE (I haven't gotten one done yet haha, no way I can get my finances and time together)
🕊️ back of thighs: I wrote a good prophecy sign on myself
It says Clara Fatum (Latin "Bright Fate")
🕊️ left hand: The Romans used to shake hands to see if the other person had a knife up their sleeve - that's where our modern way of saying hello came from
My knife is always with me, but not to do harm 🌿
🕊️ my collarbones: swallows are my ode to the love of symmetry and the sea, they are depicted a bit iconically, love these birds
On the bottom it says "beato virgo", which means for latin “blessed virgin”, a reference to the Virgin Mary
🕊️ solar plexus: the spider there has a special meaning that I keep to myself hehehe (it's not related to any bad activity, just keeping it as my little secret)
Every tattoo makes me who I am 🖤
Why so much Latin, you ask?
I studied it and fell in love with this ancient language
