The older guy asked me (a contractor) what I saw myself doing in 5 years. I rolled my eyes and said “this”. He clearly printed generic questions and didn’t bother to check them. He never liked me after that. Anyway the woman and I clicked at the interview and thankfully when I started, she was my boss (and he was hers but she kept me away from him lol). We really did click and were a bit gossipy sometimes. Anyway, one day I told her I had a pop star lined up to shag that night. She was desperate to know who but I got the impression the pop star was hoping I didn’t know, so I said I need to be discreet and she threatened to sack me (she was joking!). Next day I came into the office and she immediately pulled me aside and asked how it went. I laughed and said I could hardly talk about it in an open plan office, so she ran to the room booking diary and booked a meeting room for us there and then. She wanted all the details but I only told her the basics. She asked who it was and, having met the guy, I got the impression he wouldn’t be bothered so I told her. She said “oh wow!
