🕑 Added 2024-04-09 18:28:15 +0000 UTC The way I’ve dedicated the past 5 years growing Persicaria tinctoria 💙 it’s Japanese indigo! :-) The weather is warming up here in LA—notice how the leaf got a little scorched, and it’s blue! Because there’s pigment in the leaves! Such a special and sacred plant to me. I mainly use it to make indigo dye but I think I want to start exploring its medicinal benefits.
