I do not talk to my mother and haven’t seen her in about 5 years. I keep my distance for my own safety and sanity. The Hallmark holidays are really hard for me. But I’m grateful to have had such a good day regardless. Then yesterday I went to the beach! I really made the most of my weekend. Now it’s back to work for a few days!
