Normally Valentine's is not an event I pay much attention to, but it was the day I got engaged after graduating university many years ago. Not only have I reached a place of healing and self sufficiency after that relationship fell apart, this year I was able to love myself, and share my life with so many other people who care about me in much healthier ways. This Valentine's, I get to celebrate a life and relationships I don't want to escape from, and that is very much worth taking note of for me. 🌹
