Talking about connection while I paint my toenails 💙⭐️
I think something I missed in what I said here, something really important, is that throughout the process of discovering ways to connect, it is crucial to be incredibly self-compassionate and kind to yourself, and very very patient with yourself. I’m sure I’ll touch on this at some future point with other topics, but I wanted to add it here because it can take a long time to build on what you’ve got. I still often feel lonely and disconnected even though I work on it all the time, but I have noticed significant progress as the months and years go on.
