Murder She Wrote 🎶One of my favorite things about being in Jamaica was listening to all the unique music that originated there. They invented popular genres like reggae, ska, and dancehall and they love to bump their homegrown goodness everywhere they go. I discovered tons of new music while I was there, but this classic song by Chaka Demus annd Pliers will always get my ass shaking. Speaking of ass shaking. I went to a party in Kingston and they were having a “whine” competition. It’s a Caribbean dance with lots of circular hip movements. It’s super sexy and also super difficult.
