The ones on my backside are deeper red, newer and showy. and then some slightly more faded ones in the crease of my belly on the front side. And in between them, on my side, the lighting brightens the oldest ones, the most faded. actually a lighter tone than the rest of my skin, if only when the light catches them. and this photo is a couple years old now. I haven't thought on it in a while but they really do tell a story about my relationship with my body. I think the oldest stretch marks are from quite a while ago when I stopped caring about managing my weight. and the second round is when I stopped being as active because I started working from home and stopped being on my feet 8+ hours a day and the newer set is from getting into feedism and gaining all the way up to 494lbs at my highest. three different phases of my life, gaining out of boredom, gaining out of sloth and gaining out of pleasure. I think that's pretty cool, idk about you.
