🕑 Added 2021-06-18 01:34:45 +0000 UTC I've had a very traumatic week and a half. My new nurse accidentally flushed my bladder with 120 ccs of bleach instead of the normal saline that we usually use. Needless to say, it didn't feel great and it still doesn't. I have 1st and 2nd degree chemical burns on my abdomen as well as on the inside of my thigh. Also have an in dwelling catheter for two weeks to help my bladder heal. How did this happen? A nurse who no longer works here filled an empty saline bottle with bleach to clean the bathroom with but didn't designate anywhere on the bottle that bleach was in it (She's not allowed to work here after this shit). I have since been to the ER (on my birthday no less), my GP, and my urologist. I'm in less pain today than I have been since it happened. So yay! Thank you for your continuous support throughout this bullshit! You all rock!
