We must first come out of the mind and back into the body. In bringing presence and calm to the body, the mind also follows 💫 👉🏻When you feel anxious or pressed: -Affirm “ I am not the thoughts that are here or that come into my mind.” - Shake the body to ground the body and release the anxious energy (intentional jumps up and down, shaking out the limbs) - Guide SLOW, GENTLE and DEEP breaths INTO the nose and OUT of the nose, following the easeful breath as it flows in and out. (** Nose breathing, especially with our tongue at the roof of the mouth, calms down the body and mind, bringing our nervous system from survival mode to a state of calm. ) - Get outside and connect your body with the Earth.
