🕑 Added 2021-07-18 02:16:41 +0000 UTC VERSACE: FINE JEWELRY VS. FASHION JEWELRY The key to my heart: gold Versace jewelry 💛💛 What’s really great about their jewelry is that it’s really not that expensive because it’s all “fashion jewelry” which is wayyy cheaper! Don’t be mistaken— fashion jewelry does NOT mean it’s fake! It means that it’s COATED with gold, not made of solid gold (usually the base is stainless steel). Almost all jewelry made by even the most high-end fashion designers is made of stainless steel coated with gold. Very few designers make both fine and fashion jewelry. So what makes something fine jewelry and not fashion jewelry? To be considered “fine jewelry” the entire piece has to be made of solid gold or platinum. For example, Cartier does not make ANY jewelry made of anything but solid gold, platinum, or diamonds. Even the silver-colored jewelry is actually made of solid white gold.
