The US elections are over, and the Republicans, led by Donald Trump, have claimed a decisive victory!🐰
Congratulations to everyone who voted for Trump!
And my sympathies to those who cast their ballots for Kamala Harris!
It was a rather grim and messy campaign, and I’m just relieved it’s finally over!🥲
I don’t share the gloom of the losing side; I believe that America and all of us will be just fine.
The campaign’s populism will fade into the background, and things won’t be as alarming as they might have seemed. Key democratic institutions are still standing strong, and that’s what matters most💜
Here’s hoping it stays that way!
Even though many agencies were forecasting a close 50/50 outcome, I still don’t understand what that was based on! Maybe it’s time most of these analysts take a break😅
So, let’s see what comes next!
For now, I’m just glad there weren’t any clashes or unrest, and people, despite their differences, behaved in a civilized way!
While everyone was glued to the vote count, I started watching a show called Beauty in Black — a pretty intense, no-holds-barred series about a reluctant stripper. It may not be top-tier TV, but it’s a good way to unwind for the evening!😎
