My office is slowly coming together! My office is always my favourite room in every house I live in.
My office is where I’ll slip away to when I need clarity, when I need a perspective shift, or to think and release some shit. My office is where I am working on writing my book, it’s where I paint, my office is where I find grounding. The energy hits different in this space (or the space it will become shortly). I design my offices that way...to be calm and intentional.
I didn’t think would find a more perfect office than the one I left in North Carolina, but then I moved here. Every night since moving in, when when this room was utterly empty for all those months before my belongs arrived, I would come and stand in the doorway and just stare at the empty wall. That back wall will soon have custom brass standoff bold hardware for the concrete walls and 1” thick panels of industrial raw cork attached to the 9’-6’ wood boards behind my desk then hung on the wall. Every evening for 9 months, I come and stand in this room and just quietly dream about the life I am starting over from scratch. I stand here and I softly smile softly, knowingly.
Back in 2021 when I secretly moved across the world without telling anyone; I had carefully boxed up all the important things that had been born on my office walls and brought them from one continent to another. Now I’m just waiting to put them all up. Fabric samples, building blueprints, torn out book pages, business cards from architects, handwritten blessings from mentors, notes on cocktail napkins, travel receipts, a memento, a photograph, the espresso spoon I swiped from a cafe in Brazil. A pinned tacked up conceptual snapshot of everything I love and what inspires my current projects and what will someday become my life’s work.
My office is sacred.
it’s still incomplete but this vague looking space is the rawest expression of my true self. I’m serious. It might look like a normal room to you, nothing too special, but this GIF is one of the most intimate views of “the real me” I’ll ever share on OnlyFans.
