🕑 Added 2022-07-22 16:12:55 +0000 UTC This photo makes me feel like I should be sitting here changing out the vinyl records I don’t yet have on the record player I do not own… Back around 2003 I donated something like 300 vinyl records; my mom’s entire collection. I was a teenager when she passed and while I grew up listening to vinyl at home, and later dating hipster musicians who would preach to me about the pureness of music recorded on wax…I didn’t fully appreciate what I had on my hands. Definitely did not know that in my late 30’s we would see a huge resurgence of vinyl (and all analog everything) or that I’d desperately want them all back again. 300 Motown, classic rock, classical, folk and funk records **kicks myself so hard in the ass* fyi: There is a turntable on my wishlist, if anyone wants to make me super horny by gifting it to me.
