🕑 Added 2023-05-04 17:02:42 +0000 UTC normally I pick the cutest of the pics for you but I know some of you want more real life sort of pics too... well here’s an odd one that happens from time to time - my feet get a little swollen when I’ve been sitting in one spot for too long during the day - normal for me. But tonight I put my feet in the tub in warm - not hot - water, and pulled them out shortly thereafter when I had to run to grab the phone. My feet are bright red but not hot - one knee hot, and one cold. It’s sympathetic nervous system dysfunction, where a non-painful stimulus (warm water in this case) triggers my body to do random things like flush my skin red as if it would if there was a trauma. Lots of paras and quads with injuries at or above T6 have autonomic dysfunction but I’ve only had a few scattered signs of it including this random localized flushing or temperature. Weird! p.s. yes I have only four toes on my left foot
