I forget about this stuff now but early after my scoliosis surgery went wrong and I became paralyz'd (around age 5) I burned myself. This is on the back of my left ankle, where I rested my completely numb foot on an indoor radiator that was cold, and then the heat turned on. I had no idea until my dad walked in and say me with my legs up on the radiator. By then my skin was angry red with a black circle in the middle that was about 2” across. I had to see a plastic surgeon every week for three months, where they cleaned and debrided my wound (removed the eschar or dead tissue) and dressed it to keep it clean. Back then I had no spasticity - if that had happened now, I’d be alerted to the burn by my legs spasming and probably would have spasms keeping me awake at night until the burn had healed. Would you rub cream on it for me, Sir? 😇
