The Rent – Part 4
Even though pain still lingered on my skin, wetness was threatening to push past my lips. I could tell Mr. R was satisfied by my frazzled state and allowed dinner to begin. We had chatted for a while until Mr. R it found it was time for us to pack up and head back downstairs.
“Finish your wine,” he commanded softly.
I had poured too much in my glass and hadn’t thought much of it but Mr. R was adamant that I finished my drink.
“It was irresponsible of you to give yourself more than you can handle, and now you refuse to finish?”
I was forced on all fours.
“What does responsibility mean to you, Artig?”
A confused look was all I could offer him, I was then punished hard with his hand on my ass. Mr. R asked me the same questions four times and each time I failed to give a satisfying answer. To my surprise, when I looked up at his face he seemed amused.
“Responsibility is not simply large tasks alone. Gaining a true sense of responsibility comes from the mindfulness of the smallest tasks that you perform.”
He spoke so eloquently that I didn’t notice the unfinished glass of wine that was being held up to my face.
“Drink it.”
This time there was no room for refusal, so I did. It was hard to ignore the stinging that rested on my ass as we made our way back downstairs. I was commanded to make coffee, in the process he trained me on how to do it and how to hold and present the cup to him politely. It took a few tries but eventually he was satisfied. I was waiting in kneeling position while he finished his drink.
“I’m sure you brought your own toys with you for this endeavor.”
