I always use VEGAN hairdye, which usually means it’s not tested on animals and doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. 2. I also prefer using semi or demi permanent hair dye as permanent hair color takes a lot longer to wash out, and can cause more damage. 3. When it comes to bleaching, I try not to use full on bleaching products directly on the hair, instead a bleach wash (bleach mixed with developer and shampoo) can be much less damaging and still be effective in stripping color. 4. Always deep condition after dying and or bleaching! Using coconut oil can also help repair damaged hair.
