🕑 Added 2020-02-07 14:00:00 +0000 UTC I sometimes get hit by shame for having dyslexia & ADHD.. but for someone who is both, I have an unquenchable thirst for learning. I have a hard time being able to sit down on my down time to read, so I like audio books & podcasts, w/c I can listen to while doing something.. Im all about multi-tasking, though it doesnt mean Im consistently good at it😅. I also like listening to online courses that have audio recording for days I have to be on multi-tasking mode, like when Im doing some computer admin stuff or putting on my makeup before hustling at the strip club, since it takes me an hour to put my makeup on😆. If you are inclined to purchase me an audio book from amazon.ca, here is my wishlist: https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/dl/invite/9G4F0y3?ref_=wl_share 🙃😜 Im currently listening to Gabor Mate’s book on drug addiction, because I work in an environment which it is prominent. Im at the part of the audio book where he talks about how complicated our brain is. He is talking about scientific studies on our brains functionality, the various ways we look for positive triggers for our dopamine receptors. It made me understand, out of the drug context, how my role as a stripper, through intimate touch , human interaction & connection is valuable. We live in a world were isolation is prominent & how important providing some basic human needs is to trigger positive response from our natural dopamine receptors & if those needs don’t get met, we use artificial resources, like drugs. The audio book discusses scientific studies that confuses me, but being able to rewind & re-listen to it until I understand it is something Im grateful to be able to do.😌
